Cheryl Cole’s wardrobe has been under attack since arriving in the US to film the X Factor. Up to now her choices have been criticised, complaints ranging about her big hair, her colour blocking clashing with Paula Abdul’s colour blocking …….. but her latest appearance has finally won praise.

The polka dot dress is by Sonia Rykiel. Last week, when my mother and I had a day out, she spotted the same dress in Seagreen. She thought the dress would be perfect for the wedding I am going to in September. I have a new dress for the day already but I would have been very interested in the Rykiel dress otherwise! Well done mum! When Cheryl gets it right, she looks perfect!
